Oh, free as in, the 360 was free…aha…misunderstanding. Yes, free equals better in just about every instance, save the VD. You’d never want that, ESPECIALLY if it’s free.

I’ve avoided WoW for the most part. It failed to charm me and so I am no slave to it. City of Heroes, on the other hand, I can attest is my shiz. Still haven’t played that much lately tough. Too busy, umm, Wii-ing it up.

When the 360 is $300 w/HDD, bundled component cables AND built-in wifi I may think about getting it pre-HDTV. Only then, however, do I think I’ll ever own one. Too big an expense on what end up being only a couple of games I want to play. Now if only Nintendo would bring the online titles…then I’d feel, well, probably frustrated at the Friend Code thing. I’d be online though.

I feel the same way. Until the soul sucking beast that is WoW came into my life, I played more GameCube than anything. But I do have to give the 360 props for ganking some of the premier franchises from Sony. Metal Gear, FF, RE and I do believe Devil May Cry being a few. I think I would have wanted a 360 in a year or so when the console sellers for me started pouting out for it. Either way, Gears of War is a pretty bad ass, not something that alone would warrant a $350 system purchase, but it makes me think some good things are to come.

No 360 here, no. This isn’t to say I haven’t played it, mind you. I just wasn’t impressed with the shiny. Will I NEVER own one? Can’t say right now. Will I own one before I own a PS3? Most definitely (which is still not necessarily saying I ever will). It needs to provide a lot more for me than the same old games with the same old gameplay just with more polygons, textures and resolution. Also, it’s pretty useless for me to get one at the moment whilst I remain outside the realm of HDTV.

I refuse to buy an HDTV until there is, overall, more HD content. Right now there isn’t. When the shows I watch are on HD, I’ll get one. I’m not getting a gaming system that requires HD for it to be any good until I get an HD set. I’m not into the whole “look how big my gadget collection (dick) is” thing. If I don’t need it I don’t got it, and won’t miss it.

The only thing I’m moderately interested in with the 360 would be taking advantage of Live. That looks to be made of awesome. Other than that, bleh. Same old regurgitated games, but now with more chunks.

Ohhhh…That;s some interesting territory you’re venturing into, Soapbox. While I did have an opportunity to purchase a Wii, Wii decided that going to otakon and comic con was a bit more important and the Wii can wait for xmas 2007.

SS–I had a great time; especially the part about pissing off other moms.
