Otakon 2007–Begin Geek Week NOW!
Earlier in the week I thought I was a goner. I thought I was going to have to sit this Otakon out. You see, On Tuesday, I came down with some nasty cold. I was dying on Wednesday and was seriously thinking I was NOT GOING TO MAKE IT. After nyQuill, DayQuill and some sleep, I was about 75% on Friday. I decided that I couldn’t bear to miss my favorite convention of the year.
This year was a bit different. This year, I sort of fell into chairing a panel and was invited to do it again next year. Since I am now discussing anime on a panel at a convention, I believe that I am a dork in an offical capacity. Unless, uh…I’ve already been an “offical” dork.

Yeah, I’m totally going to the panel next year if I can. I’m probably going to volunteer as well so as long as I am not stuck doing something mundane I’ll go.
