Comic Con International , Day one
First of all, I could actually live in San Diego. It’s urban, bohemien and very very cool. Probably super expensive to live, but…eh.
Seondly, there is nothing like nerd love. While we were standing in line for “preview night” after getting our badges, we happened to notice a couple to the right of us making out pretty heavily. The guy kept egging the girl on as if he hadn’t ever been kissed until he met her. (this is probably true, though.) It struck us as mildly hilarious.
This place is HUGE and there is A LOT to see. Not as many costumes as I had anticipated, but, like I said, it was just preview night. We have four more days. The preview of the exhibit hall was amazing. We saw a NEW lego Star Wars for the Wii–which made me giddy with excitement of using the Wiimotes to swing light sabers around. Short Round scored a pre release of the new Teen Fantasy Novel “Betwixt”, and there are so many comics to chose from I nearly peed myself.
and that was just preview night.
Stay Tuned : Today will encompass Sergio Argones, Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars) and other notables.
*goes to nerd out*
