Savers would be rewarded if the interest rates were to rise. Sadly, it seems that stashing cash away is always looked upon as a poor investment choice, since it grows at a snails pace. 

Americans used to save. Why have we suddenly be conditioned to take so many risks? This house of cards will eventually fall.</description>
